NB! The units are styled for photography and interior details and decorations are not a part of the "package". The
photos of the different units must only be seen as guidance for the current unit, as the units are not 100 % similar
to each other.
About the building:
In Domi you will find three one bedroom apartments (35 sqm) and 27 single units with private bathrooms and kitchens (19-20 sqm), as well as single units with private bathrooms (14-15 sqm), with shared kitchens for 10, 11, 14 and 15 tenants.
All units and indoors common areas are non smoking. Several units are facilitated for handicapped.
Shared laundry room
The laundry room with washers and tumblers is located on the ground floor in Domi (right next to the main entrance). The laundry room is available for all residents at Domi and Unitas.
When moving in you will receive a "laundry-card" with login-info. You stock the card with value online. The card itself has a small cost which
will be added to your rent once (see the pricelist for
current price), and it is pre-stocked with a small sum, so that you can
use it right away. If you loose your card, a new one can be purchased
at your local service centre. Please remember to turn your laundry-card in when moving out, it can be used again.

All units have their own storage room on the lower floor in Unitas (use the basement entrance). The storage rooms are marked with room numbers.

Electricity and energy
The rent includes electricity.
The building is built as a passive house (with low energy standard) and is attached to central heating that provides energy for ventilation heating and hot water.

There is one elevator in each building.
You will receive a key card
(free of charge) when you move in to your student housing. Here is how to use your card:
Hold the card up to the reader and you will see a green flash. Enter your four-digit code (you select your
four-digit pin code when you receive your key card). The door unlocks.
Inner doors: Hold your card to the
reader. Press the handle and open the door when you get a green light and a single beep. The door locks
automatically when closed, but you can always open it from the inside with the doorknob.
When green and red
lights flash alternately: low battery voltage, batteries must be replaced immediately. You may also see red and
green flashing lights simultaneously. If you do, please let us know that the batteries need to be replaced.
NB! Do not make holes in or write on the key card – it may stop working.
Remember: All key cards must be
returned to SSN when you move out of your student housing. A fee will be charged if the key card is not returned. See the price list.
Use your PC or mobile phone to let visitors in through the main entrance!
Procedure: Log on to
key.ssn.no, where you use your mobile phone number as user ID and the pin code from your key card as password.
"Slide to unlock" at your preferred building (Øvre Sund). The main entrance door will now stay open for 5-10 seconds
before it automatically closes.
There are two HC-parking lots for cars, but no more spaces reserved for the student housings. Because of the proximity to the emergency room's ambulance entrance, it is of high importance not to park incorrectly by the student housings.
There is a large room for bicycle parking on the ground floor, where you can store your bicycle as well as washing and repairing it.
