Frequently asked questions: Rent

The rent must be paid by the 1st of each month, and you will find an invoice for rent on My page. Let us know if you have not received the rent invoice.

Signing the contract

You must sign the contract within three - 3 - days after it is received. You will receive your contract by e-mail.

Cleaning in shared kitchen

Make cleaning lists, gather for kitchen meetings and create a kitchen chat to keep your shared kitchen clean and tidy. Our cleaners check the cleaning regularly.

Paying the rent with money transfer

If you are a tenant who do not have a Norwegian bank account, you will need to transfer money to SSN´s account to pay the rent.

Adaptation for disabilities

At all our campuses, there are housing units that are adapted for residents with disabilities.

Short-term rent

You who are a distance learning student in Bø or Notodden, can rent a dormitory with us while you are at a gathering - so-called short-term rent.

Fire safety in SSN student housing

It is important that you who live in an SSN student housing know what to do to avoid a fire in the accommodation. Equally important is that you know what to do if there is a fire.
