We have welfare hosts!

All of our student housing areas have one or more welfare hosts. The welfare hosts are employed by SSN to be the link between our residents and us.

Cleaning in shared kitchen

Make cleaning lists, gather for kitchen meetings and create a kitchen chat to keep your shared kitchen clean and tidy. Our cleaners check the cleaning regularly.

Paying the rent with money transfer

If you are a tenant who do not have a Norwegian bank account, you will need to transfer money to SSN´s account to pay the rent.

You who are a distance learning student in Bø or Notodden, can rent a dormitory with us while you are at a gathering - so-called short-term rent.

Fire safety in SSN student housing

It is important that you who live in an SSN student housing know what to do to avoid a fire in the accommodation. Equally important is that you know what to do if there is a fire.

Residence permit bank account for international students

To get a residence permit to study in Norway, you need a certain amount of money in a Norwegian bank account. SSN offers to help you with this account.
