About the buildings:
Campus Ringerike student accommodation was completed in time for the start of term in 2016 and has 150 housing units for 154 students. You can choose between different kinds of units: single units with private bathrooms and access to shared kitchen for respectively seven and fourteen residents, single units with private kitchen and bathroom, and one bedroom apartments.
- +Calling system
Use your PC or mobile phone to let visitors in through the main entrance!
Procedure: Log on to key.ssn.no, where you use your mobile phone number as user ID and the pin code from your key card as password. "Slide to unlock" at your preferred building (Campus Ringerike). The main entrance door will now stay open for 5-10 seconds before it automatically closes.
- +Electricity and energy
Electricity is included in the rent.
The building is built as a passive house (with low energy standard) and is attached to central heating that provides energy for ventilation heating and hot water.
Click the buildings and units for an overview of furnishings/equipment. You will have to bring your own duvet, pillow, bedding, kitchen utensils, cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner. You are not allowed to remove furniture from the unit, but you are allowed to bring additional furniture if there is space.
In your shared kitchen in Terra you will find a Quooker, where you get boiling water (110 °C) directly from the faucet.
All residents that belongs to a shared kitchen at Campus Ringerike Student housing has their own, private fridge and kitchen cabinet in the shared kitchen.
- +Fire safety

The student accommodation has free Internet connection. Click to read more about user accounts and connection. It is possible to stream through the Internet, but you have to contact SNAP TV yourself to take out a subscription. There are no TV-signals via the network, though multi-casting is possible. There are TVs with SNAP TV in the common areas designed to cater for more than 10 persons.
- +Key card
You will receive a key card (free of charge) with a four-digit code when you move in to your student accommodation. Use your card as follows:
Entrance doors: Hold the card up to the reader, and you will see a green flash. Enter your four-digit code (which can be changed by contacting the service centre) to unlock the door.
Room doors: Hold your card up to the reader. Press the handle and open the door when you get a green light and a single beep. The door locks automatically when closed, but you can always open it from the inside with the doorknob.
When green and red lights flash alternately: low battery voltage, batteries must be replaced immediately. You may also see red and green lights flashing simultaneously, indicating low battery voltage. Please report to us that the batteries need replacing.
NB! Do not write on or make holes in the key card - it may stop working.
Remember that all key cards must be handed back when you move out! If you fail to hand back your key card, you will be charged.

- +Outdoor area
There is a great outdoor area and barbeque site for free use for residents behind the accommodation.
- +Shared laundry room
There is a laundry room with washing machines and tumble driers in U1 (basement) in the Luna building. To find the laundry room, go past the mailboxes by the main entrance and take the door to the left before the lift.
When moving in you will receive a "laundry-card" with login-info. You stock the card with value online. The card itself has a small cost which will be added to your rent once (see the pricelist for current price), and it is pre-stocked with a small sum, so that you can use it right away. If you loose your card, a new one can be purchased at your local service centre. Please remember to turn your laundry-card in when moving out, it can be used again.

All residents have access to a private storage room in the basement (U1). The storage room provided with the couple apartments is 3 m2, while the other storage rooms are 1.3-1.5 m2. All residents have access to the shared bicykle shed.
- +Waste disposal
Underground waste igloos located behind Luna. Remember to recycle!
