Electricity and internet, caretaker and zero deposit
In our student housing, both electricity and internet are included in the rent, which reduces unforeseen expenses. We do not operate with a deposit and have a caretaker at all our residences. Most of our dorms and apartments are furnished with everything you need - such as white goods, bed, desk and chair, sunshade and wardrobe.
There is a three-month notice period, but new students who have rented student housing with us before they know whether they will be admitted to the program can cancel the lease by 31 July if they do not get a study place.

The student must make the call
Do you have any questions regarding, for example, the application or the tenancy agreement? Do not hesitate to contact us, but remember that the student must call themselves if the question pertains to the customer relationship between the student and SSN. According to the privacy law, we cannot disclose personal information, even if parents are calling on behalf of the student.
Help is at hand: We have welfare hosts and advisors
Common areas such as stairs, entrances, elevators and corridors are cleaned by our cleaners. In addition, all residential areas have both welfare hosts (students who live in the student housing and are paid by SSN) and SSN-employed advisers/coordinators who are available for questions and help with both practical and more private matters. For example, if you need help finding something to get involved in outside of your studies, our advisors have a good overview of student volunteering!

Options to choose from
Our housing selector gives you an overview of all residential areas and housing types. In many places there are several options, and we recommend that you list several options in your application. We allocate homes on an ongoing basis according to the waiting list, and applicants with more options may be allocated faster.

A good tip is to accept the accommodation that is allocated, and then reapply for a change of accommodation if you wanted to move somewhere else. If you are already a resident, you will be prioritized on the waiting list.
