Stubben Student House at Rauland
"Stubben" is the student house at Rauland. The house is meant to be a social gathering place for all students studying at Rauland, but can also be used for private events.

In short distance to both Raulandsakademiet and the student housing, you will find the new student house in Rauland, Stubben. In Stubben's main hall, you can gather, play, dance, or simply hang out, and all students in Rauland have access to the house. Read more under the tab Access to Stubben.
The student house contains a kitchen, toilet and several offices in addition to the banquet hall.
Stubben includes:
A large shared room (main hall) with space for 60 people. As of January 25, 2024, the common room is not fully furnished, but temporarily and partially furnished with two long tables and chairs.
A kitchenette in the main hall with a refrigerator and dishwasher, as well as a hob and oven to prepare or warm up simple meals.
Two toilets: one regular and one accessible toilet.
Offices for the student council and a meeting room adjacent to these.
An SSN office where SSN's Gyry Nystog is based.
Office for SSN's counseling service, for in-person counseling with a psychologist/therapist.
The party room in the student house has a parquet floor that has been chosen specifically for dancing. The remaining material choices have also been made so that the room can be used for dance and music.

If you live at Campus Rauland Student Housing, you have access in the same place as you lock yourself into the dorm via My key card on My page.

If you already have a user account in the Student Sørøst-app, where you are registered at Campus Rauland as a verified student - you can lock yourself into Stubben by going to the Student Housing service and selecting My key card (here the door to Stubben will appear as a choice).
If you don't have a user account in the Student Sørøst-app, you should create one. Download the app and register with the email address you usually use (if you are a resident, you must use the same email address you are registered with on SSN's My Page).

The student house Stubben in Rauland can be rented by USN, other partners, and private individuals who wish to use the house for events such as meetings, baptisms, confirmation parties, anniversaries, etc.
Rental price: NOK 3500,- per weekend (Friday to Sunday)
Students who wish to rent the banquet hall for private gatherings pay NOK 2500 per weekend (Friday-Sunday).
The tenant cleans up after themselves, and SSN approves the cleaning job. In case of unsatisfactory cleaning, a fee will be charged according to the price list.
There are two long tables with a total of 24 seats in the banquet hall. The kitchen is visible to the left in the picture.
There are also a seating area with small tables, armchairs, and sofas in the banquet hall.
About the venue
Furniture: The banquet hall is furnished with long tables and chairs, as well as sofa groups.
Capacity: The banquet hall can accommodate 40 people if all participants wish to sit at dining tables. It is permissible to have a maximum of 60 people at the event.
Tableware: There is tableware for 40 people, but no champagne glasses.
Cooking facilities: The kitchen is basic, but it is possible to prepare some food there. We recommend catering if you are a large group.
How to rent Stubben
To apply to rent Stubben, you must send an email to us with the following information:
Desired rental date.
Name of the tenant.
Address of the tenant.
Phone number of the tenant.
Once we receive your application, we will contact you to confirm availability and provide you with further instructions for payment and any other formalities.
