About the buildings:

Kjølnesjordet 24 and 26 were built in 1985 and 1987. There are 16 single units in each house. Four of the single units are arranged in doublets, where two students share a kitchen and bathroom. In the other single units, two students share one bathroom, while the kitchen is shared by six students. Each house has a living room and shared laundry room.

Electricity is included in the rent.

+Equipment
Click the buildings and units for an overview of furnishings/equipment. You will have to bring your own duvet, pillow, bedding and kitchen utensils, in addition to cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner. You are not allowed to remove furniture from the unit, but you are allowed to bring additional furniture if there is space.
+Fire safety

+Internet
The student accommodation has Internet connection, free of charge. Free Internet connection is only offered to students at USN.
+Lifts
There are no lifts in the buildings.
+Location
The student accommodation is located at Hovenga, only 1.2 km from USN Campus Porsgrunn and walking distance to the nearest supermarket and several other stores. The area is quiet and peaceful.
+Outdoor area
Each building is surrounded by large gardens.
+Parking
There is free, allocated parking. Bicycles can be stored in lockable storage rooms. Please remember to lock your bike!
+Shared laundry room
There is a shared laundry room in each building, with free use of washing machine and tumble drier.
+Storage
One small storage room is located in the two doublets in each building. Two students share storage rooms in the other units. Each building has a common storage room / bicycle shed.
+Waste disposal
Green and black waste containers are located between the houses. Remember to recycle!
