SSN Health, Porsgrunn

Need someone to talk to? Book your first appointment via the appointment button below. If you are already using our conversational therapy service, you will receive new appointments continuously from your therapist / psychologist. We also offer drop-in conversations.

In case of emergency you can call the emergency room: +47 116 117 or contact your doctor.

Booking of appointment:

  • Online booking via the appointment button applies to NEW students to the offer only (ie if you do not already use our health service or it has been many months since you last did).
  • The first session is a short talk to clarify the need for help and the way forward. You will not necessarily continue to have conversations with the person you had the first session with.
  • New sessions are set up continuously as needed (you do not need to book another appointment after the first session).
  • You will receive an SMS confirmation when the appointment is booked, as well as a new SMS in advance of the appointment, with a reminder of your appointment.

Already using the conversational therapy service?

  • If you are already using this service, and have not set up a new appointment for various reasons, call your therapist to schedule a new appointment when needed.
  • If you are a former user of this service and want to start up again, call the therapist/psychologist you were attended by before. You find the phone number next to your therapist underneath.

Evaluation:

It is important for us in the talk therapy service that you get the best possible help. Therefor we want you to fill in the survey you will receive on your phone two days before your session. This is a good preparation for a good conversation.

Drop-in:

You currently need to call to get a drop-in talk. You will then agree on whether you should come to the office or talk by phone/video. SSN Health now offers drop-in talks every afternoon Monday-Thursday from 12-12.30pm. Phone numbers can be found next to the picture of the therapists below.

If you have an urgent need for help, you must call 113, the emergency room 116117 or your GP.

Cancellation of appointment:

NB! Online booking is available ONLY to students who are new to the service.

Hilde RaadeHilde Raade, therapist

Office: B-140
(You find SSN Health at SSN´s office, just inside the main entrance, in the "glass gate".)
Tel.:+47 31 00 83 18

Book appointment

Drop-in (12-12.30pm) at the office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, or on phone, with the possibility to ad video if you wish.

Hilde is a trained nurse with extended education in mental health work. It is important for her to meet you with an open mind, and that you can explore the possible reasons for the arrival of difficulties together. For some, stress with exams can be difficult to deal with, while others struggle with close relationships. Both friendship and family can be demanding! Some students carry with them difficult experiences from both childhood and adolescence. Some have experienced painful thing that still causes problems as adults and some experience painful things in adulthood. All of this can disrupt concentration and drain energy.

If you arrive at a closed door with the therapist / psychologist, you can leave your telephone number with the service consultant in the SSN service office and you will receive a phonecall from us.
