To use a wired connection, you can connect your device directly to the wall socket in your apartment. There are two outlets in the socket, but only one is active. To connect several devices to the internet at the same time, a router must be used. The tenant must obtain this him or herself.
We recommend that you use network cables of the standard cat5e or newer. If using a router, it MUST be in NAT mode, as we only have one public IP address per apartment. Most routers have this setting as default. Note that if you are switching between devices connected directly to the wall socket, it may take up to five minutes from when you disconnect one device before the next device has internet access.
