Actor Hæge Manheim and musician Oddbjørn Aase, both from Seljord, have put together a cabaret based on the poetry of Halvor J. Sandsdalen (1911-1998). Sandsdalen was also from Seljord, and Manheim and Aase want to highlight his writing, now 25 years after he died. He wrote both prose and poetry, and several of his poems were set to music by, among others, Sigmund Groven. In the cabaret there is subtle humor and sadness, but also satire and kicks to the authorities. H. J. S. sees life from the poor peoples perspective. Everything is presented by two artists who know Sandsdalen's environment well.
