Bø film lounge // Lost childhood with guest Kari Honerød

Dalva, 12, lives alone with her father. One evening, the police storm into their home and take Dalva to a youth home. She eventually makes new friends in temperamental roommate Samia and social worker Jayden, and gradually realizes that the love and care she shared with her father was not what she thought. With the help of Samia and Jayden, Dalva learns to be a child again.
LOST CHILDHOOD paints a psychological portrait of a damaged child, and thematizes the difficult topic of incest. The way Dalva reacts towards adults and other children makes us understand a lot about the relationship between Dalva and her abuser without this being shown directly.
The 2022 Belgian-French film is director Emmanuelle Nicot's debut. With sexual assault as its theme, the film has both sparked debate and given the young lead actress Zelda Samson (12) a well-deserved talent award at Cannes.
Those who want, are welcome to the salon in Framstugo after the film. Tonight's salon guest is Kari Honerød, who has worked for many years in the municipal and state child welfare services. She has previously been head of child welfare in Bø, has been head of department in Bufetat and is now head of child welfare in Skien.
Coffee/tea and fruit in the lounge are included in the ticket.
The age limit for the film is 12 years.
