Our race motivator Katarina has extensive experience with self-training and from participation in various races, most recently the Oslo Marathon. She is very enduring and well-trained, but at the same time has a good eye for individual starting points, and promises to organize the training sessions according to those who want to participate. In other words, you can help shape the program yourself!
The class will mostly take place outdoors, but will move into the gym/mills if it is too cold or slippery.
From 18 November the running group will jog to Ringerikshallen. There they will meet Ringerike Friidrettslag, who offer professional guidance and interval training. You do not need to join this training if you "just" want to jog!
Location: Meet outside the main entrance.
Duration: 1 hour.
Intensity: Medium to high with the possibility of individual adaptation.
Equipment: Workout clothes according to weather conditions.
We are used to Elisabeth in Kafé Alma makes sure we get the food we need for our bodies, but every Monday she also makes sure our bodies get some exercise! In a varied strength training program that can easily be adapted individually, she plays through 60 minutes of activity.
The group class is full of speed and fun, and we guarantee that the whole body gets a workout!
Location: The gym.
Duration: 1 hour.
Intensity: Medium to high with the possibility of individual adaptation.
Equipment: Workout clothes.
Stig or Andy, or Stig Andy, call him whatever you like, is a well-known fitness motivator in the Ringeriks region. He has extensive experience as a group instructor and has also been the head of SATS, is a driving force and pacesetter in various races and lives and breathes exercise. He is also a former student at USN (formerly HIBU).
Once a week he leads a group class in the gym, and we post every week on Instagram and Facebook what type of group class is being run, but mostly it's 30 minutes of spinning followed by stations of strength training. You feel well-trained after the session, it's a good combo of fitness and strength.
Location: The gym.
Duration: 1 hour.
Intensity: Medium to high.
Equipment: Workout clothes.
There is no booking to join a group lesson, you just show up in the hall (you must have a membership).
