Join us in launching Porsgrunn Student Sports Club!

PSI is becoming an independent student sports club, and you're invited to the founding meeting.

Never attended a meeting like this before? No problem. You don't need to prepare anything, and we'll guide you through everything during the meeting.

📅 Friday, October 30, 12:00-13:00
📍 Room B1050, USN Campus Porsgrunn
🍕 Pizza will be served!

Please sign up in Spond by Thursday, October 29, so we know how much pizza to order. You're also welcome to just show up.

Why become an independent club?

PSI has grown to include five sports and 271 students. As an independent club, we can manage our own finances, apply for more funding, and become a member of the Norwegian Sports Federation.

Training sessions will continue as usual, and we will still collaborate with SiG.

At the meeting, we will decide:
Whether PSI should become an independent club
The club's constitution and roles
Membership fees
Budget and activity plan for 2027
Who will serve on the board

Everyone who joins PSI at the meeting will have voting rights.

Interested in a board position?

The leadership group has proposed a board, but it is only a proposal. Anyone can run for a position or nominate someone else.

Please let Jon know by Tuesday, October 27, or nominate yourself at the meeting.

You can find the meeting documents here:
