Viggo Venn – Friendless

Viggo Venn stands at the intersection of laughter and seriousness – with his heart on the outside of the costume and a twinkle in his eye. In Viggo Venneløs, he explores the beauty in the strange, and the strangeness in the beautiful.

Through dance moves you didn’t know existed, music you didn’t know you needed, and physical comedy that goes straight to the heart, the audience is invited into a performance full of laughter, movement, and warmth. The vest is off. This is a show for adults who want to both laugh and feel.

Viggo Venn is a Norwegian comedian, clown, and physical theatre artist, known for his distinctive blend of absurdity, vulnerability, and close audience interaction. He achieved his international breakthrough when he won Britain’s Got Talent 2023, captivating both the audience and the judges with his iconic reflective vest and unpredictable energy. Viggo is trained at École Philippe Gaulier in Paris – the legendary clown school that has also nurtured performers such as Sacha Baron Cohen, Emma Thompson, and Helena Bonham Carter.

He has previously worked as a hospital clown in Norway and has taught clowning and physical comedy across Europe. With Viggo Venneløs, he has created and toured a number of critically acclaimed productions – both solo and as part of the duo Zach & Viggo, who won Best Comedy Award at Brighton Fringe 2016 and Adelaide Fringe 2017. He has also been a finalist on Das Supertalent (Germany), a finalist in the New Acts of the Year Show (London), and performed at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the British Royal Family at the Royal Albert Hall (2023).

With Viggo Venneløs, he now returns to the theatre stage – without the vest, but with a heart full.
