Welcome to the Start of the Autumn 2026 Semester!

We are delighted to welcome new and returning students, including students with families (feel free to bring them along, but please make sure to register them), as well as staff and partners, to an enjoyable evening at Kjersti's Mat og Vinhus on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Doors open at 4:00 PM.

We have reserved the entire venue exclusively for our group and will have access to it until closing time!

Feel free to arrive whenever it suits you, but please remember to register. Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted.

This is an alcohol-focus-free event, although alcoholic beverages will be available for individual purchase. Our goal is to create an open and welcoming meeting place for everyone.

There will be a complimentary barbecue serving:

Hamburgers (beef and vegetarian options)
Sausages (pork and chicken/turkey options)

All served with a fantastic selection of side dishes. We also offer options for guests with milk protein and gluten sensitivities.

The evening will feature:

Music throughout the venue
A quiz with prizes
Special bar offers:
NOK 89 for the house draft beer (0.5 L)
NOK 98 for house wine (red, white, rosé, or sparkling)
15% discount on other non-alcoholic beverages and any additional food you wish to purchase (outside of the complimentary barbecue menu)
