Welcome to an open sewing workshop with Fikseriet, Tuesdays from 5:00–7:00 PM at Hollenderiet!
As part of USN’s Sustainability Week, and in collaboration with Fikseriet, the Campus Board in Drammen is making it possible for students to come and get help repairing and redesigning clothes or other textiles. As usual, the open sewing workshop is open to all ages.
Fikseriet provides most of the basic equipment you’ll need, including sewing machines and overlock machines, as well as sewing thread, recycled textiles, and embroidery and mending tools. Their instructors and volunteers can help you get started with the equipment, but you should expect to try things out yourself. Feel free to bring your own sewing machine if you wish. No registration required.
