Workshop: Alternatives to plastic

On the occasion with Reuse Week 2023, Fikseriet invites you to a workshop where we make beeswax paper and bowl covers from residues, Thursday 23 November. These can replace the use of plastic wrap and aluminum foil and can be reused again and again. Beeswax paper is used in the same way as plastic wrap, e.g. to cover bowls with food scraps, wrap fruit and vegetables or wrap packed lunches. Beeswax paper is washed off with cold water and a little soap if necessary. The bowl cover is a piece of cloth with elastic band and can be used as a cover for bowls of different sizes. The bowl cover can be washed at 40 degrees in the washing machine. We teach you how to make beeswax paper and bowl covers in different sizes.
The workshop is free!
Come by and make your own, we provide equipment and materials. You may also bring the recipe home with you. There is no registration, stop by between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. It takes about 15-20 min to make beeswax paper, and 30 min to make bowl covers.
