Tuesday 24. Oct, 17:00 -
VAREhuset, Drammen
How long does an item of clothing live in your closet? Is it really that easy to repair? Fikseriet invites you to a lecture on Norwegians' clothing consumption with Anna Schytte Sigaard, research fellow at the consumer research institute SIFO.
Welcome to VAREhuset in Tollbugata 7, Tuesday October 24 at 17:00.
Anna Schytte Sigaard is a research fellow at the consumer research institute SIFO and works with sustainable clothing and textile consumption. Through her PhD project, she will, among other things, investigate the quantities, condition, disposal method and reason as well as fiber content of clothing and other textiles that are discarded in Norwegian households. In this talk, she will present findings from the project that show something about what Norwegians get rid of, why they get rid of it and what condition it is in when it goes out of use.
