Botanical Excursion to Mørkvassjuvet

Young Botanist Bø invites you to Mørkvassjuvet Nature Reserve!
An area characterized by old-growth forest with giant spruce, enormous aspen trees, and plenty of dead wood.
We’ll take you into one of Telemark’s most exciting natural areas and try to show you species you’ve never seen before.
Meet at the main entrance of USN on Saturday, October 10, at 9:00 a.m.
The hike will last 7–8 hours, so bring lunch, snacks, a hot drink, and weather-appropriate clothing. Remember that fall is here. We also recommend that everyone bring a magnifying glass, a mirror, and binoculars—it’s time to get nerdy!
Please arrive by car, and we’ll carpool from there.
Travel expenses to the event up to 800kr is covered. We strongly recommend driving together or using public transport to reduce emissions and lower the costs.
