Join the Midt-Telemark Mushroom and Edible Plant Association on mushroom picking before the mushroom inspection, exhibition, and lecture at Bø Book and Paper. We'll meet at the bookstore to carpool to the mushroom forest. Bring a basket or paper bag.
When picking mushrooms, it's important to take the whole mushroom – cap, stem, and base – so we can identify the species. If you're unsure about different mushrooms, you should keep them separate. Feel free to put them in separate paper bags or small boxes to avoid mixing poisonous mushrooms with edible ones.
Your mushroom basket will be checked by mushroom experts at the inspection after the trip.
