UBB welcomes you to part 2 of the course in mapping of red-listed species! This time we are going to Lonfjell, south of Gygrestolen, to try to find some of the species we reviewed in part 1. This is a poorly mapped area with a lot of old forest, richer areas, and lots of dead wood.
Meet on Saturday, August 30, at 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot outside Kroa. Bring your car if you have one, then we will spread out over as few vehicles as possible when we drive on. The course lasts until around 3:00 p.m., with the possibility of continuing longer if desired.
Bring a packed lunch + some snacks, weather-appropriate clothing, and a magnifying glass if you have one.
