On Tuesday, March 18, Bø Cinema, in collaboration with four cultural studies students from USN, is hosting a film salon.
The theme is mental health, and the evening will feature the film A Real Pain, followed by an engaging panel discussion.
A Real Pain has received two Oscar nominations. In just 90 minutes, it delivers a touching yet comedic story about two cousins searching for knowledge about their family—and a sense of inner peace. With the panel discussion after the film, we aim to create a safe space for both young and old to learn about and share thoughts on mental health. We will also showcase various support services available for young people in Bø.
This evening is an opportunity for participants to learn, reflect, and converse together. Perhaps this film salon can bring the Bø community even closer and show that no one is alone.
