Welcome to an open election meeting / public meeting on April 12th at 18.00 in the auditorium at USN in Bø.
Theme: Local politicians' responsibility for sustainable land use in the green shift. Who contributes to our children and grandchildren having a livable climate and a rich nature?
Local politicians' responsibility for sustainable land management in the green shift requires knowledge, courage and alliances. How to balance energy demand, climate agreement and nature agreement within national deadlines?
First, three academic lectures on the need for a green shift, comprehensive nature mapping and why.
- Norith Habberstad Eckbo: biologist, associate professor at USN Bø, political senior adviser in Sabima
- Anne Kristin Fell: senior consultant and epidemiologist
- Rune Solvang: biodiversity advisor
Break , with the opportunity to see / hear about student work.
Then the panel debate and questioning of politicians, from Sp, Rødt, KrF, MDG, V, H, SV, FrP and Ap, the youth are represented in the panel by AUF, Young Conservatives and RU.
Experienced journalist Bo Lilledal Andersen will lead this.
The meeting is initiated by Grandparents' Climate Action (BKA) Grenland, and USN is co-organizer.
