Local evening: SYMRE + Johanna Seim
Symre Taugbøl Bang is from Morgedal and has the name "SYMRE".
With national role models such as Bernhoft, Black Debbath, Ylvis, Aurora and Odd Nordstoga, the music is a popular mix of genres with a focus on Norwegian text, which wavers between humor and seriousness.
In 2021, she released his debut album "YMSE" with seven own songs.
Symre is a jazz student at the Grieg Academy in Bergen.
Johanna Seim and Sjur Nyvold bring with them the best of folk music and have created a bunch of strong songs that convey personal and close stories we can relate to.
Johanna went from Berlin to Rauland to learn how to play Norwegian folk music and fell in love with the Hardanger fiddle.
There she met Sjur Nyvold, and now they have recorded their debut album "Temporary Pleasure" which will be released at the beginning of 2023.
This music is close, accompanied by Hardanger fiddles, melodious guitar comps and delicious piano chords.
With texts in German, English and Norwegian, they convey a refreshing curiosity about life's riddles.!!
