Ellen Andrea Wang Trio goes on tour in September under the auspices of Sørnorsk Jazzsenter, and finish this tour with what will be a fantastic concert in Bø.
Ellen Andrea has in recent years established herself as one of the country's most interesting and profiled musicians and has received great recognition far beyond Norway's borders.
For example, she has collaborated with people like Sting, Manu Katché and Marilyn Mazur, and was Artist in Recidence at Moldejazz in 2021, a mission that hangs very high.
Ellen Andrea established her trio in 2013 and released the album "Diving" in 2014.
The trio's latest album "Blank Out" came in 2017 to great reviews.
The music is situated in the borderland between jazz and rock / soul with broad appeal and with Ellen Andrea Wang's clear personal stamp as composer, bassist and vocalist.
