Zotero is a free citation tool that aids you in gathering, organizing and citing your sources. This is a short intro-course to get you started using Zotero. Zotera will be shown on PC, but it can also be used on Mac.

Required prior knnowledge:
The course assumes a prior knowledge of how to write citations in accordance with our general courses on citations.
Zotero helps your with citations, but still requires you to have general knowledge of citations.

NB! It is not recommended to lean Zoter or EndNote shortly prior to larger hand-ins.

Expected learning outcome:
You will learn the most basic functions in Zotera. You will be aboe to add citations manually, import them from Oria or other sources. You will be able to edit erros in citations. You will be able to add citations in text and reference list. You will have made a user on zotero.org and set up synchronization of your Zotero-library.

Prior to the course:
Download Zotero and Zotero Connector.
We recommend Firefox or Chrom for Zotero. Verify that you have a Zotero-tab in Word prior to the Course. In case of any issues, look for erros in Zoter, the USN Library or contact IT support. For more info, check the librarys Zotero-pages.
