EndNote is a referencing tool that can aid you in gathering, organize, refere and share your sources. This is a shot introductory course to help you get started with EndNote.
Required prior knowledge:
The course assumes a general understanding of referencing, along the lines of our general courses in referencing. EndNote helps with referencing, but it still demands that you know the basics i.e proof-reading your references.
NB! It is not recommended to learn EndNote just prior to a larger submission or exam.
Expected output:
You will learn the basic functions of EndNote. You will be able to add references manually and import them from Oria or other sources. You will be able to correct errors in references. You will be able to insert references in text and reference list in Word.

Prior to the course:
Download EndNote from the librarys EndNote-pae.
Verify that you have an EndNote-tab in Word prior to the course, and open EndNote once prior to the course in order to download any potential updates.
If you are writing in norwegian bokmål/nynorsk, you need to download and install norwegia APA7-style.
