During this afternoon, we will come together and learn how to weave baskets from gathered natural materials. Mari will guide us through the process and share her knowledge with us. In addition we might touch on attitudes and values that guide her in her work and explore a different view on nature and the more-than-human world.
This will be the perfect opportunity to explore this form of handcrafting, to spend time outside and to explore your personal relationship with natural materials and nature.
The workshop will take place outside, next to university. If you are attending, check the weather forecast and dress according to temperature in order to be comfortable to spend a few hours outside. Bring something to sit on if you like and an open, curious mind. 🙂
