In this webinar, we will provide tips on how you can create a logical flow in your academic text and guide the reader through your writing. We will discuss how you can structure your paragraphs so that the various topics in the text are connected.
This course is reserved for students at USN, and will be held in English!

Additionally, we will dive into the sentence level on how to make the text more readable and concise with good sentence structure. We will also talk a bit about academic language and how to express yourself concisely and precisely.
Topics:• Brief info about the USN Academic Writing Center.• Paragraph structure: Topic and transition sentences.• Sentence structure: Character-action.• Passive and active voice.• Academic language.
Who is the webinar for? This webinar is suitable for those who are well into the writing process and are perhaps working on a later draft of their text. All academic texts need logical flow and coherence, and in this webinar, we will provide some simple tips on how to achieve this by refining your paragraphs and sentences. This can be useful for both bachelor's and master's level students.
The webinar will be taught in English by Hanna Kavli Lodberg-Holm who is the coordinator of the USN Academic Writing Center and is open for all USN students.
