In this webinar, we will talk about how to write the results section of a research paper, with a main focus on quantitative results.
This course is reserved for students at USN, and will be held in English!

We will also discuss how to write a discussion and provide some tips on how to analyze in the paper and which phrasing you can use. We will cover the structure of these two parts of the paper as well as paragraph structure in both the results and discussion sections.

Who is the webinar for? The webinar is suitable for those writing a bachelor’s or master’s paper, or another type of paper that includes a results and/or discussion section. In the results section, we will primarily focus on quantitative results but will also provide some tips for those working with qualitative results or literature analysis. Additionally, we will give some brief tips on how to analyze in academic texts. The webinar can be useful for students at both the bachelor’s and master’s level.
The webinar will be taught in English by Hanna Kavli Lodberg-Holm who is the coordinator of the USN Academic Writing Center and is open for all USN students.
Duration: 1 hour lecture.
