Student housing and Covid-19

Norway has reopened and many of the infection control measures have been removed. The same rules also apply to you who live in student housing. The article was updated 29.09.21

Back to a normal everyday life in student housing

There are now no special advice or guidelines that apply to you who are moving into student housing or already live in an SSN student housing. BUT the general infection control advice such as staying home when you are ill and having good cough and hand hygiene still applies.

Residents in shared housing = household members

If infection is detected, there is still a requirement to isolate oneself. If you share kitchen/bathroom with other residents in your student housing, you and your co-residents are considered household members. If you have been vaccinated, you do not have to go into isolation if a resident in your group is diagnosed with Covid-19.

Please remember to continue taking care of yourself and others, but you can finally allow yourself to lower your shoulders a bit :)
