The kindergarten aims to provide your child with safe and first-rate educational daycare services. Originally this was a student kindergarten, but today any parent can apply. We still, however, have a special focus on adapting our services to the needs of the students.
Extended opening hours if required.
"Exam guarantee": we take care of your child if you have an exam and the child becomes ill.
As the kindergarten is next door to the University, we have the opportunity to let the children explore the gym and the older children can learn to swim or get used to water. The children may also, at periods of time, take part in practical assignments for the students.
Situated close to the University in wonderful woodland.
We have two groups, one for children aged 0-3 years and one for children 3-6 years.
Our staff consists of one educational director, one preschool teacher and two assistants per group. The kindergarten has a stable group of employees, many of whom have worked at Sætreåsen kindergarten for a long time.
We use MyKid, an app which, among other things, provides good flow between home and kindergarten, and is a safe way to share pictures of the children.
We focus on seeing the children for what, who and where they are, with their interests and characteristics, but also for the part they play in the group.
The kindergarten's focus area is relationships between children / children and children / adults.
In the kindergarten year 2022/2023, we will continue to work with relationships and courses in the use of the "circle of security".
We also participate with the eldest children in the municipality's joint investment in world heritage.
