All residents must clean their own room/apartment when moving out. In the checklist you will find a complete overview of what to clean.

Order cleaning check

Remember to order a check of the final cleaning.

The order must be made well in advance and no later than 14 days before your last contract day. The check itself can be performed no later than the day you move out (the Friday before, if you move out on a Saturday or Sunday).

💸 The cleaning check can save you fees, as you can get one opportunity to clean again if the cleaning is not approved the first time (the cleaning check must be completed before your contract expires).

Step by step when doing the final cleaning.

Follow the checklist to get the final cleaning approved

We have made a checklist that you should follow carefully when you clean your housing unit. If you have cleaned well when we come to check, the final cleaning will be approved.

NB! Cleaning that is not approved will lead to fees

If it has not been properly cleaned or cleared and the cleaning job cannot be approved, SSN will carry out the necessary cleaning and/or removal of furniture and belongings, and you who move out will be invoiced for this in accordance with the current Price List.

As long as your contract is valid, you can request a new cleaning check if you are not approved the first time. A total of two cleaning checks can be performed.

Once your contract has expired, it is unfortunately not possible for you to clean again to get it approved, and you will receive a cleaning fee.

Cleaning supplies

Here is a selection of detergents and equipment that the cleaners in SSN recommend that all residents use.
